LICENCE PROSEDURES IN TURKEY
In order to own a gun in Turkey, you first need to get a license. What you need to do for this is to apply to the authorities authorized to issue licenses in your settlement, together with the documents specified in the legislation.
During application,
1. The petition you will write to the relevant authority,
2. One half cover cardboard file,
3. The original of your identity card,
4. Health board report stating that there is no harm in obtaining a gun license,
5. 4 color passport photographs,
A document on behalf of the applicants, received within the last 15 (fifteen) days as of the application date, showing that there is no overdue tax debt in the amount of more than 5,000 (five thousand) lira within the scope of paragraph 22/A of Law No. 6183,
Weapon Possession License Card Fee Receipt of 500 TL,
After the application, if the investigation by the relevant authority is positive, you can receive your gun purchase document with the approval of the governorship. You need to make your gun purchases from MKEK institution with this document.
You must purchase your gun within one year of receiving your license. The license processing period for the gun you purchased is 60 days.
You should not forget that the gun license is valid for five years from the date of approval. Therefore, you must renew your license every five years.

Regarding your hunting rifle purchase license request, you can apply to the authorities authorized to issue licenses in your settlement.
During application,

5. You must have 4 color passport photographs with you.
Don't forget! A Shotgun License only authorizes you to carry and possess it. To hunt, you must apply to the Regional Directorate of Forestry and obtain a "Hunting Card".
You cannot hunt with a Proof of Purchase; In order to carry your rifle freely, you must have it registered in your license.
